Why You Keep Hitting the Same Revenue Ceiling

Why You Keep Hitting the Same Revenue Ceiling

Most of us were taught that business and personal don’t mix. We all heard things like:

“Leave your personal life at home”

“Never bring that stuff into the office”

“You’re expected to represent this company as soon as you step into the building”

We learned to separate who we are from what we do.

So why do you keep hitting the same ceiling? Why do you keep repeating the same pattern? Why do you feel stuck when you know you're capable of more?

What if the answer isn't in your business at all?

In her conversation with Christy Belz on Your Second Chances, Meghann shared why the biggest obstacles in business often have very little to do with business itself.

The Growth You're Looking for Is in the Parts of Yourself You've Been Avoiding

For decades, we've been taught to separate who we are from what we do. The message was clear: what you're going through doesn't matter. Leave it at the door and get the job done

What if they were wrong?

Turning inward is the piece we’ve been missing and it’s the reason you keep running into the same boulders that keep you stuck. The deeper we know ourselves, the more clearly we can see what's actually holding us back.

What Would Happen If You Stopped Waiting Until the Next Milestone to Feel Worthy?

Too many women spend their lives waiting for the perfect moment to enjoy what they've already built.

We tell ourselves, "When I get there, then I'll be happy." Once we hit the next revenue goal,  then we'll finally relax. Then we'll spend more time with our families and get to enjoy life.

But what if we get there and realize we've just spent years postponing our own happiness?

Our mission is to help more women reach the seven-figure mark, but not at the expense of their lives. We don't want women getting there just to get there. What good is crossing the finish line if you have to crawl across it with bloodied knees?

Success at all costs, especially at the cost of your family, isn't success at all. What about laughter? What about joy? What about creating a life you actually want to live?

This journey is meant to be sustainable. It's about making every moment count while building a business and culture you genuinely love.

When we tie our worth to the next milestone, it always stays an arms length away. No matter how much we achieve, it keeps moving further away.

Just because society tells us that business owners and executives need to work eighty-hour weeks doesn't mean we need to listen. It's time to unravel those outdated belief systems and choose ourselves first.

You Can Never Go Wrong by Knowing Yourself Better

You can never go wrong by investing in your personal growth and understanding your shadows.

When your self-worth is limited, think about the compassion you'd give to your best friend, then turn that compassion on yourself. We can only grow professionally as much as we are willing to grow personally. Every ceiling we find ourselves pushing against links back to our relationship with ourselves.

Tools like Myers-Briggs, StrengthsFinder, Enneagram, Human Design, and other self-discovery frameworks help us better understand how we're wired. Many women spend years believing they have a weakness when they're simply operating from a deeply ingrained pattern or personality trait.

The goal has nothing to do with changing who you are. It's to understand yourself more deeply so we can recognize what’s actually holding us back

You Need to See It for Yourself First, Then Others Can See It Too

There's a distinct difference between the 6+ figure women who've done the work and those who haven't. We can pick up on it from miles away.

We can see it in their face, their body language, and the way they carry themselves. It's even embedded in how they move.

We can sense it in the conversations they have and the way they lead within their businesses.

Recognizing yourself in any of this isn't a reason to beat yourself up. This is the very beginning of turning toward yourself instead of away from yourself.

And if you need help, lean on your community of women who’ll recognize you for your brilliance long before you're able to see it for yourself.
